    Crescent City Classic: This annual event is held in New Orleans, LA. The course is USAT&F sanctioned and certified 10,000 meters. In traditional New Orleans style, a fabulous post race party awaits event participants. 

    French Quarter Festival - A free community event with New Orleans food and music featuring local musicians on thirteen stages throughout the French Quarter. A great event for everyone with special activities for children.

    Zoo To Doo: The Bank One Zoo-To-Do is the largest, black-tie fund-raiser of its kind in the nation, and was founded in 1972 to raise money for the New Orleans Audubon Zoo. 

May 5 Cinco de Mayo Festival: This celebration of Mexico's "Battle of Puebla" showcases the cultural diversity of New Orleans through authentic Latin food and drinks, live music, dancing, arts and crafts.

August 4-8 Satchmo Summer Fest: "What a Wonderful World" you'll discover during an edutaining weekend in the French Quarter honoring New Orleans' native son, Louis "Satchmo" Armstrong. The Satchmo-inspired program includes musical informances and discussions, exhibits, a jazz mass, activities for budding young jazz fans, a club crawl, "red beans and ricely yours" foods, and a star-studded line-up of performances that would have made Louis smile. From brass bands to big bands and early jazz to All-Star sounds, you'll wonder whether it's ever "Sleepytime Down South" as you revel in the music of the man who spread the language of jazz around the world.
